Big Hearts is welcoming applications from qualified individuals to join our Board of Trustees!

The official charity of Heart of Midlothian FC, which is based at Tynecastle Park, is looking to recruit two new Trustees.

In line with our strategic ambitions, Big Hearts delivers free programmes of support focused on mental health, social connections and equal opportunities.

In the last football season, we offered 245 free days of activities, delivered 3,400 free meals and completed over 4,800 hours of support from dedicated volunteers.

Over the past two years, Big Hearts opened new community facilites at Tynecastle Park, received two prestigious awards at national and European levels, and was contracted by the city of Edinburgh Council to deliver mental health services for children from 5 years old.

Our new Trustees will bring their experience to help shape the future of our thriving charity and enable Big Hearts to continue creating opportunities for adults and children most in need of support across our communities.

We are particularly interested in applications from professionals with experience in the charity sector and / or individuals with excellent knowledge and understanding of the Edinburgh business and community environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone willing to join a growing and ambitious charity and to work alongside the rest of our Board of Trustees and dedicated Staff Team to navigate the challenges and opportunities ahead of us.

The closing date for applications is Friday 20th January. We encourage anyone interested in getting involved to look at our Application Pack below.
