Our Strategic Direction

Early in 2021, Big Hearts initiated a ‘listen and learn’ approach to identify key-learnings from our work during the pandemic and better understand what matters the most to the people we support and work with.

This participatory approach run by the People Powered Result Team at Nesta, the UK’s innovation agency for social good, enabled Big Hearts to consult close to 200 individuals.  [Find out more]

By 2024, Big Hearts are committed to:

– Understand people’s needs first to offer them the appropriate support that will improve their life circumstances.

– Build & deliver activities addressing the main challenges faced by adults and children in South West Edinburgh.

– Act as a proactive a facilitator between local organisations, available resources and the communities we serve.
