BIG HEARTS DAY: RECORD AMOUNT RAISED TOWARDS ACHIEVING EQUALITY!

Big Hearts, the official charity of Heart of Midlothian FC, is thrilled to announce the amount raised so far through our fundraising efforts on our 7th Big Hearts Day has reached over £20,000! All the money collected on Big Hearts Day will go towards our work in achieving equality.

We express our thanks to everyone involved in making this 7th Big Hearts Day such a success:

• The supporters who donated pre-match and who continue to make donations.
• Our fantastic team of 30 Volunteers who gave up their time to facilitate the event.
• The Club staff who went out of their way to include Big Hearts in their matchday duties.
• The First team squad for their continued support, on and off the pitch.

Our appreciation also goes to our Big Hearts Day sponsor Grey Pocket and match-day mascot sponsors The North British Distillery and DPS Group.

We are incredibly grateful for the collective efforts and support from all sides of the Hearts family and everyone should feel very proud of their achievements!

Each week Big Hearts invite participants from a wide variety of backgrounds and cultures to Tynecastle Park to take part in engaging activities. This gives them the opportunity to build new friendships, increase their physical activity and grow in confidence whilst becoming part of a diverse community who learn to thrive together and achieve equality for a brighter future.

This is a massive step up for our charity, and the funds raised will enable Big Hearts to advance further our strategic ambitions to create ‘Equal Opportunities’.
