Big Hearts welcome new chair of the board of trustees

Big Hearts is thrilled to announce the appointment of our new Chair, Pamela Scott. As a valued member of our charity’s Board since January 2018, she was recruited from the wider Big Hearts Supporters initiative.

Pamela has brought a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Big Hearts Board having had a long and successful career with worldwide drinks brand Diageo. Since taking early retirement from Diageo, Pamela has set up her own consultancy firm and sits on a number of Boards including Places for People Scotland and The James Donaldson Group.

Craig Wilson, Big Hearts’ General Manager said: “We are thrilled to have Pamela take up the role as Chair of Big Hearts. Pamela has proved to be a huge support to myself and the team throughout her time as a Trustee and we look forward to continuing to work closely over the coming years with Pamela and the rest of the board.

We have been very lucky to have superb Trustee support over a number of years and I’d like to place on record my thanks to Billy Watson for his superb commitment and achievements as Chair in recent years.”

Under the guidance of Pamela, we are excited to continue our mission to bring community resources together to offer adults and children free opportunities to help them live a safe and fulfilling life and work towards making a positive impact in the lives of those we serve. We look forward to Pamela’s vision and expertise as we move forward.
