Announcement: Big Hearts Gala is back for 2024
Big Hearts, the charity of Heart of Midlothian FC, is thrilled to reveal the date of our biggest fundraising event of the year – the 2024 Big Hearts Gala!
This year’s football-themed event will take place on Friday 6th September at Tynecastle Park and is sure to be a fantastic evening that celebrates the incredible power of football to create positive change.

With a free drink on arrival, guests will also enjoy a three-course meal prepared by Tynecastle’s award-winning chefs, live entertainment and you will have the opportunity to spend the evening in the company of some of the greatest Jambos.
SPECIAL GUEST UPDATE
Delighted to confirm that Hearts Scottish Cup winner, Bruno Aguiar, will return to Gorgie as our first VIP guest at this year’s Gala fundraiser. More names to be announced soon!
In 2023 we were joined by Paul Hartley, Mark De Vries and Darren Barr, who showed their support to our charity and shared memories from their time in maroon! A host of Heart’s legends will be in attendance again this year – with names to be announced at a later date!
Last year we welcomed over 250 guests to the Gorgie Suite for our fundraising event, when an astonishing £21,000 was raised to help improve outcomes around mental health, social isolation and equal opportunities.
Big Hearts is the only non-profit organisation based at the home of Heart of Midlothian FC. Our charity delivers free activities for adults and children to help them live a safe and fulfilling life.
It costs our charity over £800,000 each year to build and deliver our programmes and services to the communities living in the surroundings of Tynecastle Park, one of the most disadvantaged wards of Edinburgh.
