Big Hearts Gala Fundraiser: date revealed for 2023!

Big Hearts, the official charity of Heart of Midlothian FC, are delighted to announce the date for one of the biggest fundraising events in our calendar – the 2023 Big Hearts Gala!

The event will take place on Saturday 9 September at Tynecastle Park and promises to be a fantastic night filled with good food, plenty of fun, and some extraordinary stories from participants across many of our programmes.

There will be a drinks reception on arrival, a three-course meal prepared by Tynecastle’s award-winning chefs, and insights into our vital work across the community. On top of this, you will get to spend time in the company of some of the greatest Jambos.

Last year, we were joined by the likes of Roman Bednar and Deividas Česnauskis, along with some of the current first team squad. Keep your eyes peeled to find out which legends we’ll be graced with this time around, we’ll be sure not to disappoint!

Over 200 guests joined us in the Gorgie Suite for the 2022 event, and over £10,000 was raised to support our vital work, using football as a tool to make a positive impact on the lives of people in our community.

Big Hearts is the only non-profit organisation based at the home of Heart of Midlothian FC. Our charity delivers free activities for adults and children to improve outcomes around mental health, social isolation and equal opportunities.

It costs Big Hearts over £600,000 each year to build and deliver our programmes and services to the communities living in the surroundings of Tynecastle Park, one of the most disadvantaged wards of Edinburgh.
