BIG HEARTS GALA: OVER £10,000 RAISED AT OUR SECOND GALA FUNDRAISER!

A fantastic night of glitz and glam in the Gorgie Suite as Big Hearts welcomed over 200 guests to celebrate our 2022 Gala Fundraiser at Tynecastle Park.

As the biggest fundraising event of our calendar year, we are delighted to reveal the final amount collected on the night was over £10,200! As the official charity of Heart of Midlothian FC, Big Hearts uses the power football to reach out and engage with people most in need of support.

All year long, our charity delivers free activities for adults and children to help improve outcomes around mental health, social isolation and equal opportunities. All funds raised at the Big Hearts Gala, through ticket sales and main auction, will go to supporting our vital work using football as a tool to change lives.

Hosted by Hearts’ Stadium Announcer Graeme Easton, the #BigHeartsGala is our most prestigious event of the year and offered Hearts’ fans a rare opportunity to spend the evening at Tynecastle Park supporting our award-winning charity.

For many the highlight of the night was welcoming back Scottish Cup winning duo Roman Bednar and Deividas Česnauskis. The Czech striker and his former Lithuanian teammate flew back to Scotland for the occasion, sharing stories from their time playing at the Club.

We were delighted to welcome more iconic personalities who joined us on the night to show their support to Big Hearts. They included Hearts Legend Gary Locke and former Club captain Christophe Berra, along with First team players Beni Baningime and Liam Boyce and Hearts’ and Scotland’s no.1 Craig Gordon.

As part of their Gala ticket, guests enjoyed a drinks reception on arrival, followed by a delicious 3-course meal prepared by Tynecastle’s award-winning chefs.
