#VolunteersWeekScot – Big Hearts Volunteers Achievement in 2020
This Volunteers Week 2020 we would like to recognise the outstanding efforts from supporters across the extended Hearts’ family, during what has been and continues to be, a challenging time for so many.
Since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, Big Hearts Volunteers completed over 1,000 check-in calls to older people and isolated families, offering further assistance with food & wellbeing support.
With varied and extended initiatives in place through Big Hearts and Heart of Midlothian FC, Volunteers helped support over 6,000 vulnerable people across Edinburgh.

Our ‘Football Memories At Home’ project, Youth Befriending programme and the Club’s partnership with Social Bite are amongst the vital initiatives kindly supported by dedicated fans.
