Kinship Family Day 2017 – Info for families

As we look forward to our third Kinship Family Day, which takes place next Tuesday at Tynecastle park, we are delighted to share practical information for the families who have registered to attend. With a host of fun activities to get involved in, this should be a memorable day for all!

Transport & Parking
Tynecastle Stadium is easily accessible via bus: Lothian Buses 1, 2, 3, 25 and 33 (stop on Gorgie Road), as well as First Buses 27 and 28. Haymarket Train Station is just a 20 minute walk from the stadium.
Please note there is no dedicated parking (with the exception of blue badge holders), and due to limited on street parking around Tynecastle, we would recommend our attendees to travel by public transport if possible.

On Arrival
Entry to the Stadium will be open from 11AM via Tynecastle Terrace – street between TSB branch and Church on Gorgie Road, EH11 2NT.
On arrival, families will be invited to complete a short registration form, unless they have already done so via Eventbrite website, and our staff will give you a wristband for the day.

Activities
On arrival, you will have the chance to sign up for the following activities:
•Music workshops
•Football coaching
•Multi-sports activities
•Stadium tours
•Owl Information Talks

There will be 3 activity slots during the day, each slot lasting for 30 minutes. Activities have reduced capacity and registrations are on a first come, first serve basis.

Other activities will be available throughout the day for which no registration is required. This includes balloon modelling, face painting, meeting Hearts players and over 15 information stalls from organisations such as Citizen Advice, Children 1st or South West Libraries.

Lunch
A lunch will be provided for everyone at 12:15pm.

End of event
The Kinship Family Day is expected to close at 3:30pm.
