Big Hearts Gala 2024: Special Guest Announcement

Big Hearts is delighted to welcome Bruno Aguiar, Juanjo and Saulius Mikoliūnas back to Tynecastle Park for the 2024 Big Hearts Gala, on Friday 6th September! **Click here to book**

The former Heart of Midlothian FC players return to Gorgie in support of our charity’s biggest fundraising event of the year. They will join us for a football-themed evening, celebrating our charity’s positive contributions to the communities living in the surroundings of Tynecastle Park.

Bruno Aguiar joined Hearts in January 2006, from his boyhood club Benfica. A classy midfielder, Bruno became a key part of the squad that split the Old Firm and won the 2006 Scottish Cup.

Juanjo joined Hearts from Barcelona in October 1998 and spent three seasons with Hearts. A flamboyant winger who would regularly get fans off their seats, scoring against Hibs in a win at Tynecastle Park.

Saulius Mikoliūnas joined Hearts in January 2005 and went on to spend four and half successful years at Tynecastle. The Scottish Cup winner brought skill, tenacity and vital goals to the team at a key time.

Big Hearts are thrilled to have the support of Bruno Aguiar, Juanjo and Saulius Mikoliūnas at our Gala fundraiser, and look forward to reminiscing and sharing stories from their time in maroon!
