Volunteers’ Week: Big Hearts Celebrate an Award Winning Year!

A Big Hearts Thank You!

On the 38th Volunteers’ Week, we take the opportunity to show our appreciation and thank our Big Hearts Supporters for their continued dedication throughout the year!

In the last 12 months, we are extremely proud of our Volunteers who have completed 3243 in person hours.

To each and every one of you, we want to say a massive thank you!

Our Big Hearts Supporter’s movement is going from strength to strength, winning the 2021 ‘More Than Football’ Award in November. The Big Hearts’ volunteering programme was recognised as the most innovative and impactful Community and Social Responsibility (CSR) programme in European Football.

On Wednesday 1st June, four of Big Hearts Supporters will be recognised by the City of Edinburgh’s Inspiring Volunteer Achievement Awards. They will each receive a Special Recognition Award, presented by the Lord Provost of the City of Edinburgh.

This is a really exciting moment for Big Hearts Community Trust and a very special evening for Norrie Rush, Cara Heriott, Trevor Henderson and Honor Flynn!
