This February, Big Hearts are advertising for 3 paid roles within our staff team.

As our charity initiates the second year of a new ambitious strategy, with more projects being delivered at Tynecastle Park than ever before, we hope to recruit new staff members who will strenghten the delivery of our programmes and bring day to day support to our activity.

We are looking to recruit:
– One Finance & Administration Officer
– Two Sessional Youth Workers

Big Hearts is recognised as one the leading football charities in Scotland, widely praised for the standard of our support services and the positive impact generated across Edinburgh.

We offer an hourly salary which is above the UK Living Wage.

FINANCE & ADMIN OFFICER

This is a brand new role, seen as a vital addition to our staff team, where you will support the day to day finance and administration needs of our award-winning charity.

The new staff member will work 15 hours per week, open to flexibility, and report directly to the General Manager.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced finance professional with good organisational and interpersonnal skills, who is looking to work for a growing third sector organisation.

YOUTH WORKER

Within this role, you will provide tailored support and activities for young people and teenagers in need of positive experiences and guidance around mental health, wellbeing, resilience and life skills.

This paid sessional role is for someone who can work in the evenings, between 3 and 9 hours per week, with opportunities to get involved in more projects as Big Hearts continue to develop.

This is the perfect role for a candidate with experience within the charity sector, and with knowledge of providing support to younger people.
