Update on our activity – Big Hearts

In light of the current developments of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak, Big Hearts Community Trust has decided to suspend all our regular face to face support and group activities from Monday 16th March until further notice.

This includes our weekly Kinship Care after school club, Football & Edinburgh Memories sessions, T.E.A.M and GoFitba projects. Our matchday activities planned as part of #BigHeartsDay on 21 March are also postponed.

The health, welfare and safety of all our programme participants, volunteers, partners, stakeholders and staff is our primary concern.

Big Hearts remains committed to providing support to groups who are most vulnerable in South West Edinburgh, including those who might become at higher risk of social isolation and poverty in the upcoming weeks.

We are currently reviewing our range of programmes and working on alternative ways to continue the support we deliver. As ever we are encouraging teamwork and open discussions with local organisations to address the challenges faced by the community on our doorstep. Further updates will be provided in due course.
