Come on board – Big Hearts is looking for 2 new Trustees!
Today Big Hearts is inviting applications from qualified individuals to join our Board of Trustees!
Over the past three years, Big Hearts has become an established charity in Scotland, working with Heart of Midlothian FC and local partners to harness the power of football to change lives.
Our ambitions to reduce social isolation and poverty recently saw Big Hearts complete another record breaking year: we engaged with over 2,500 vulnerable adults and children, delivered 238 free days of activity, received 6 awards nominations and the continued support from over 200 active volunteers.
Despite an unexpected start of the year, our Covid-19 activity has demonstrated our capacity to adapt our activity and reach out to those who need our help most.
Our new Trustees will bring their experience to help shape the future of the charity and enable Big Hearts to continue supporting those who are the most vulnerable across our communities. There are two Trustee positions available, with ideally one being a qualified finance professional.
This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone willing to join a thriving and ambitious charity and to work alongside the rest of our Board of Trustees and dedicated Staff Team to navigate the challenges and opportunities ahead of us.

We look forward to starting conversations with individuals who can meet our skills profiles and are interested in joining the Board of our thriving and ambitious charity.”
