Vote for Big Hearts: Tesco in-store!
Big Hearts are delighted that our application to the Tesco Community Grants Scheme has been successful. Our School’s Out! project has been named in the Tesco in-store votes, across 6 stores in Edinburgh.
Voting commenced in store at the beginning of April 2022 and will continue until 30th June 2022.
To vote, customers will be required to make an in-store purchase of any value. You will receive one token per transaction and it is not necessary to purchase a carrier bag in order to receive a token.

- Edinburgh Roseburn Express EH12 5NG
- Edinburgh Stenhouse Express EH11 3DQ
School’s Out! is hosted at the home of Heart of Midlothian Football Club, during the school holidays. The project was set up to tackle holiday hunger, enabling young people living in challenging circumstances to access free meals and engaging activities during the holiday period.
The project with the highest number of votes will receive £1,500, second place will receive £1,000 and third place £500. Securing the votes of those in Edinburgh means Big Hearts will be able to allocate the funding towards our School’s Out! project.
How you can help Big Hearts:
- Cast your vote as soon as you receive your token for a project in the current voting round.
- Only submit Community Grants tokens to cast your vote.
- Encourage your friends and family to vote at their local stores.
