SPRING HOLIDAYS: HELPING YOUNG PEOPLE THRIVE

Spring has arrived and as always Big Hearts are getting ready to engage with young people and help them thrive, throughout the Easter school holidays.

From 11th to 22nd April, our charity will offer a host of activities across our programmes:

Our Kinship Care programme for young people and their carers will set off on a family trip to Conifox Adventure Park in Kirkliston, for a wonderful day out and egg-straordinary adventures!

Teenagers from our That’s Me! project will experience 1000’s of years of Edinburgh’s darkest history, with an afternoon trip to the Edinburgh Dungeon.

Our ever-popular School’s Out! project is running for the two weeks of holidays with 20 young people referred to Big Hearts by local schools. Every weekday afternoon at Tynecastle Park the group will enjoy a range of exciting activities including arts and crafts, sport and a variety of fun indoor games. A free hot lunch will be provided.

To keep up with our activities throughout the spring school holidays, follow us on social media.

Big Hearts would like to thank our funders for their continued support: The City of Edinburgh Council, European Football for Development Network, the National Lottery Community Fund, RS Macdonald Charitable Trust, Scottish Professional Football League Trust and Tesco Community Grant.
