From 2.15pm on Hearts TV: Fans watching the game from home will have the opportunity to watch the story of Walid, a young Syrian refugee involved in Big Hearts Welcome Through Football project.

On the pitch: The First Team squad will be wearing the 2021/22 Third Kit with a Big Hearts logo taking pride of place on the front alongside the golden Club crest. Hearts will be making history by playing at home in the iconic blue and black jersey for the very first time.

HOW TO SUPPORT BIG HEARTS

The 6th Big Hearts Day we will shine the spotlight on our Welcome Through Football project, which promotes social inclusion and access to education for refugees and asylum seekers.

We would be grateful for any donations; an online fundraiser is now live – Refugee Fundraiser

The money raised on the day will help support young refugees from all countries as they rebuild their lives in Edinburgh. In addition, we know that emergency action is most needed in Ukraine right now and that’s why a portion will be donated towards Lviv Stadium in Ukraine, now a shelter for displaced people.
