We are delighted to reveal that Edgaras Jankauskas will be returning to Tynecastle Park on 28th October, for the 2022 Big Hearts Gala fundraiser! **Click here to book**

Born in 1975, the Lithuanian started playing in his home country before expanding his career internationally, in more than 9 countries over 20 years. Familiar with winning trophies, he became the first Lithuanian player to ever win the Champions League in 2004.

Only two seasons later, Edgaras Jankauskas arrived at Tynecastle Park on loan from Lithuanian Club FBK Kaunas owned by Vladimir Romanov. With an impressive track record Jankauskas’s arrival to Gorgie was considered at the time, to be one of Hearts’ highest-profile signings.

In maroon, Jankauskas was quick to impress Jambos, helping the Club ‘hammer’ Hibs in the 2006 Scottish Cup semi-final. His goal alongside a Paul Hartley hat trick at Hampden sealed his Legendary status as the Club headed for the 2006 Scottish Cup final which they’d go on to win. Edgaras made a total of 47 appearances scoring 13 goals in maroon.

We look forward to welcoming Edgaras Jankauskas back to Gorgie for the 2022 Big Hearts Gala, to hear his memories of the Scottish Cup triumph, splitting the Old Firm and of course being a Champions League winner under Jose Mourinho.

Come and join us for a fantastic football-themed night, celebrating Big Hearts! Bookings are open to attend this prestigious event in aid of the Club’s official charity, with individual tickets and tables of 10 available. **Click here to book**
