THIS YEAR BIG HEARTS GOES ON THE ROAD TO DELIVER CHRISTMAS!

50 days ’til Christmas! This year to ensure everyone’s safety and continue to be there for those who need our help, Big Hearts will go on the road to bring some festive cheer directly to vulnerable people’s homes!

OUR FOCUS

This festive season 2020 will be a difficult time for many. With further challenges brought by Covid-19, we expect poverty and social isolation to be on the rise.

We won’t be able to open the Stadium to hundreds of people, as we have done for the past 3 years.

Big Hearts remains as committed as ever to tackling food insecurities and acute loneliness in our community – not only in the days leading to 25 December, but throughout the whole festive holidays.

BIG HEARTS DELIVERS CHRISTMAS

Our support initiatives are aimed at young and older people across Edinburgh & the Lothians who have been referred to us by a local agency or a relative.

Hearts fans get to play a vital part by volunteering from their home or at the Stadium.

Home delivery of food & pre-cooked festive meals: Securing food essentials and free Christmas Day dinners for those most in need.

Phone calls to isolated older people throughout December: Enabling over 65s to enjoy regular social interactions, including on Christmas Day.

Bespoke Christmas presents via our popular Gift Back Appeal: Ensuring the most vulnerable will find a gift chosen for them under the Christmas tree.
